Wooden laundry basket made from SBB pallets
This wooden laundry basket comes in two styles. The smoothly sanded surface, made of wood reclaimed from transport pallet frames, retells the history of the material in a new form. The cloth bag has a generous capacity (90 liters) and is sewn locally. As soon as the bag is full, just remove it from the wooden container and carry it easily to your washing machine. The original handles from the pallet are part of the wooden basket, making it easy to reposition, too. You can even keep the basket in your washroom – the dampness won’t do it any harm.
Sizes and surfaces
You have a choice of two styles: A light version, with a white, sanded-down surface, and a rustic dark version. We also offer a smaller laundry hamper in our online shop. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you have any special wishes. We’re happy to help guide you through the process!
Manufacture
All of our products are assembled locally and by hand in Basel. The entire process, from design to the final product, takes place under this one roof.
